Unnoticed Look

An unnoticed look
She had in her eyes
When she was surrounded
By colours
Smiles and chatters all around
Some were joking
While some were gazing
Some were thirsty
While some were embracing
No one was friend
In those sparkling lights
Everyone cared for 'I'
To be someone talked about
To steal an eye of every passerby
She stood there waiting
For the eyes that seek her
Not the eyes that
Search through faces
And pick up the one
To dress and showcase,
She wore a smile
With a thought realized
That in this marketplace of pride
There are eyes to seek
There's desire to follow
Everybody's dressed too heavy
But deep inside
They are hollow
She stood there waiting
She's waiting there still
Dressed in dignity
Refused to compromise
To wait for the eternity
Then to bring close: the end.
