One second it takes

A second we call it
What difference does it make?
Ask it to someone
Who lost something for it's price
Ask it to someone
Who missed an oppurtunity;
In blink of an eye
Ask it to someone
Who lost their precious forever
Ask it to someone
Who can never live it same ever
A second it is
Which changes momentum of reality
When it brings a reason to live
Or gifts us pain of a lifetime
It takes only a second
To erase castles of centuries
It's in the time of a second
That dreams are build for eternity
We may live a lifetime seeing thousand suns
But it takes us a second to awake from a lifelong sleep.

What if chords are broken And the arms are free?
