Seeker Poet

The last kite in the distance Floats up in fade pink skies Stays flying up after the sunset When rest have loosen ties I stare up into the midway In gap of me and sky Flying and roaming are many When all I seek is Thy I breath in trembling breeze From my standby tired scar Settled in trailing whispers I look up to play my guitar The time is fading faster As the sun has left too soon The night is ready to enter As i am ready to let in the moon. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Tender dew on velvety green leaves Fly in the trance of thier own Languid in their dance on resting wind Under the Sun after fall Reflected upon Water puddles Lead me to a twenty four feet walk Beneath Sun shining high Lightning my veins and skin Walking right beside me On the water filled concrete gaps Enjoining everything in perfect Joy Festival of rain and shine Festival of Green ornaments born again Living the Spirit of Nirvana Fading from Droplets to Nothing. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

How easily i forget, How easily i lose the sight, Of how i got into shade, Of how i got my sweat dried, When i stood up high, Known of what may come, I chose it for myself, To stay under the midday sun, The sun got closer, To test my valor and will, Blinding eyes to the wall, Blood sweating from within, I stood there blind, Weak to look into it's eyes, Somehow i survived, To see that a blessing has arrived, A cloud came in, Bringing peace and joy with itself, A shade so relieving, So calm that i was out of myself, I roamed in the shade, Of blessing and peace, I hold my head high, To see, sun is close to release, I came back in, In the shade of the wall, The sun came back again, Much more sharper, much more tall, When i crawled back in, About blessing i realized, How easily i forget, How easily i lose it's sight. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

The light is The One, The One is The light, Chase it into sun, Chase it into night, The dark may be darker, But light comes in bright, Sky may look so beautiful, But pale without moonlight, Light is need of the wanderer, Near dawn, in middle of the night, To go beyond into unknown, To fly free reckless flight, The Sun do sets on horizon, But light do stays beside, To guide you keep on going, In this languid ferocious ride.

I wish that music plays forever, Forever in background till i exist, So i won't worry who's talking, Whether you or my mind, So i can clear the fog on the rearview, Seeing the gone the way it was, With the windshield reflecting the sun, The sun that burns within me throughout days and nights, I try to win the moments altogether, Receding ceaselessly into the distant future, Unconsciously reaching beyond like a mystic trance, Like a sun never going out of bounds, My sun got fire but doesn't wish to burn, It hides gracefully behind leaves and clouds, It rages on it's own path, to fulfill the destined command, To go through whatever stops, to smile to whoever pass, So i wish that music goes on forever, In my background, within me throughout, So i can ignore what my mind disturbs, Raging boldly in the unknown world.

It seems like sun and moons are gone, Clouds seem to have swallowed them, They are there, far there than our reach, Superficial things sometimes seem real, Fear that ain't a moment old, Seems like the mountain of centuries, Like the floods and earthquakes that may end us, The illusions so weak made giants and demons, A dense bunch of beautiful bright cloud, Stood there in between the dark companions, With light being showered from above, Came to a soul that sought the guidance, The soul that's brave enough, But lies in the body that feeds on mind, The eyes that see, the ears that do hear, But mind veils the truth seeking soul, Alas we don't do unveil the reality, We build castles on smoke, hide us in dark, When the sun outshines outside, We turn our heads in, into the abyss of fog, Don't believe me, believe your ownself, See within, widen your eyes to see, See what lies hidden in open, What lies within unseen.
