Seeker Poet

The last kite in the distance Floats up in fade pink skies Stays flying up after the sunset When rest have loosen ties I stare up into the midway In gap of me and sky Flying and roaming are many When all I seek is Thy I breath in trembling breeze From my standby tired scar Settled in trailing whispers I look up to play my guitar The time is fading faster As the sun has left too soon The night is ready to enter As i am ready to let in the moon. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Move on How easy it is To say these two words To leave behind What you've collected for so long Gifts, letters, tears, scars To let go the memories Of the moments that you lived Of ages that you died What if It's all you want to carry with you Wherever you go Like a pigeon Tied letter to it's feet Seeking for the address To whom it belongs What if that person Has left her home And took the pigeon's heart along It ain't no peace Until it finds her out And delivers the letter That reveals the truth That she already knows But won't broke out her chains Until she realizes it By her own No persuations will make her stay No poems will bring her back I am that pigeon flying Speechlessly high Waiting for the moment When the maker of my heart Will fulfill it's true demand If he feels purity in it Or I'll keep flying Staring at the moon to be reached. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Old Twisted branches, Flying ash flakes, I chose them, For my eyes to follow, At this place, With everything and nothing, I stand where wind blows and words fly, Dare to see continuously the sun, In eyes of the faces and places forbidden, Don't follow it known of nothing, Don't just go through just because it's said to do, If it's there all dusty, it's meant to be seen, Better see it today, What may be sticked to face tomorrow, See whatever passes listen to what it says, Go beyond into unseen unknown, Watching Old twisted branches, Flying ash flakes. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015
