We curse the flight, When we are on ground, We laugh at their life, When no death's around, We blame the light, When we choose dark, When we loose it bright, We blame the lark, We need them closer, We also need space, We 'wish' to be Wiser, We cheat to win race, We are We, Proud Human, Kings, Slaves, Man and Woman. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

You have to know me well, You have to know me fine, You have to tell me then, How well you understand, Of how the sun goes down, Of how you feel me bound, Of how you see me through, When i fell on the ground, I am so insecure, In all these days and nights, When i see 'me' no more, In all these ugly fights, I see the bluer sky, I see the darkest clouds, I have these ears and eyes, Still i have unknown doubts, In all this mist and fog, In all this dark and shine, You have to know me well, You have to know me fine. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

The light is The One, The One is The light, Chase it into sun, Chase it into night, The dark may be darker, But light comes in bright, Sky may look so beautiful, But pale without moonlight, Light is need of the wanderer, Near dawn, in middle of the night, To go beyond into unknown, To fly free reckless flight, The Sun do sets on horizon, But light do stays beside, To guide you keep on going, In this languid ferocious ride.

It seems like sun and moons are gone, Clouds seem to have swallowed them, They are there, far there than our reach, Superficial things sometimes seem real, Fear that ain't a moment old, Seems like the mountain of centuries, Like the floods and earthquakes that may end us, The illusions so weak made giants and demons, A dense bunch of beautiful bright cloud, Stood there in between the dark companions, With light being showered from above, Came to a soul that sought the guidance, The soul that's brave enough, But lies in the body that feeds on mind, The eyes that see, the ears that do hear, But mind veils the truth seeking soul, Alas we don't do unveil the reality, We build castles on smoke, hide us in dark, When the sun outshines outside, We turn our heads in, into the abyss of fog, Don't believe me, believe your ownself, See within, widen your eyes to see, See what lies hidden in open, What lies within unseen.
