Seeker Poet

I wish that i can rise up high Right from where i stand amaze So i can gaze up straight to the west So i can look up back to the east That i may look beyond the city Beyond the towers and walls upright To every valley that I've dreamt awake To every stepping stone that patiently wait To have no thoughts in the haven of silence Where flapping wind; strokes the soul Where eyes just follow; a divinal trail Where no dream has ever; waste to frail There i want to fly in solitude high Free on ground, soaring the sky. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Mermaids, centaurs and unicorns Far away from this world I want to see them in real Once before i awake So i can see what it feels like To be in a dream Instead of the reality That's a nightmare I am tired of smelling blood When i go out seeking flowers I am tedious of insomniac nights When i don't see dreams at all I am tired of awaiting answers When the questions remain unheard I am tired of being cautious When i want to be just real I've chosen the path of patience God, help me before i break Mermaids, centaurs and unicorns I want to see before i awake. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Here we stand, knees deep in fire, Weeping, cursing, hurted along, In middle of the Yellow disaster, Forgotten for what we left home, Hands waving from here till horizon, Not a single to help, all to unravel our soul, Death just waiting for us to somehow give up, Life's pointing to graves and prisons, We all hardly dare to know the truth, That we don't know what may happen tomorrow, In between this aging turmoil, We all Dream The Impossible Dream. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Look in the eyes of the moment, Don't stop in between to breath, World's got smoke, no essence, Breath what you get through, The world ain't just valleys and gardens, It breaks at midnight, the sweetest dream, Yet don't await for bad to arrive, Go unknown into the moment brave, The life is going wild and young, Stay in the moment silently, At the moment of consciousness patiently, With eyes staring in the eyes of moment, Whatever comes to you, don't leave yourself, Attitude of wise is best of the ways, Stay yourself, even man alone, The world stays harming, in no time it's gone, Don't let the illusions of mind come in between, Don't let them infect the reality, Widen your eyes, open your ears, Listen what heart speaks, see what life presents.
