Starlit Expedition

Image
A bright white peacock in sky's realm Flying right in middle of space at distance Studded with stars at end of feathers Like threads of light floating aboard wind Twinkling diamonds in midnight ocean Adorned with light through invisible strings Shining in middle of the sapphire hourglass Covers my eyes with fog of illusion Gulped willfully at soul's consent Roaming the garden of clouds and stars Embracing the light of half ate melon Bare eyes stare the scattered stars Peacock of the night rests far in the sky To crawl through the dark into moonlight salvation Comes to sight The Triangles of Light From a point in space to My Starlit Expedition. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Three fishes horizons

Three fishes swim Over the pearl shining beneath In the inverted glass manner On the earth i was standing down Where the whistling sound surrounded Jingling of steel pipes Moon pasted on the blue sheet Spread from one corner to another Stars hanging in between Through the wire of freedom Where obedience is not a boundation Where freedom doesn't mean transgressing vows In a moment where present is yesterday In a lifetime where tomorrow is unreached They tread predestined path Unworried, unhurried, Hanging unconscious in a gleamy trance Wisely known of the truth That it ain't about plans or resolutions It's all about Journeys and Horizons. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Without Stars And Sleep

Passing nights Without the stars Without the sleep This is going For so long How long can i keep? Dreadful is silence The one which often Relieves Am caught In mess of my head More than anyone believes. I know that There's a hand One and only That can heal From whom Nothing is hidden From whom Nothing i can conceal Been too long For now I need to get back deep I am passing nights In dark Am wandering Without stars and sleep.... © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Nowhere Town

We keep on riding down, Down the Nowhere Town, Languidly, into the next, Feared, imagining the best, Eagerly taking the turns, Hiding Ugly skin burns, Riding and Sailing, to land afar, To rid the stains, to rid the scar, Beneath the stars, we stand alone, To see the past, to see the gone, We Stood in silence, for million nights, In sleepless doubts, in ageless fights, People, Society, Race and Creed, Better not bothered, contagious disease, Rattling trains, working machines, No place for love, No place for dreams, Nowhere Town, On money it feeds, To trash it takes, to hell it leads.

I still dare to breath

Night wrapped in shadow of stars, Reflecting back in the eyes of seeker, That wanders to take home: unknown, In hope of best, trying again and again, Days pass by, nights follow repeatedly, Bringing moments of dead silence, Often readable, often not, Like verses written in ancient language, Each night needs the reason, Of why dreams come, why nightmares knock, Why life goes stranded, How tangles get resolved in a moment, Am 'i' the reason for all of these occurences? Or 'I' am the medium to traverse? I seem like a hole in the door, Through which light passes to illuminate, Answers i get, questions still surround me, I go through head high, sometimes it's hard to crawl in, Doubts and regrets, i try to rid of, Being in the shallows, i still dare to breath.

Near You And Me

I kept on searching night by night, Into every day's light, To find you all the time, In my death, in my lives, I went prepared, i went naive, I went crawling more than i survive, After the funerals to get alive, To get through myself hive by hive, I started to end, I got caught on every bend, I don't even remember how to begin, I see only demons wherever i have been, I caged myself completely, To get free again lately, Trying to rid my mind's grasp, Got more trapped, the more i tried, Remembered only feel of 'the one' divine, By whose grace i climbed up the vine, To get on path i seen up high, I saw the moon and stars all shy, I tried to feel presence of 'the one', Got light near me from moon like sun, I stopped the search to see it clear, Not to see too far, but to see real near, The One who's near Within me, Is The One near each and everything, Between all the silence and words, Between all the rhythms and hearts. ...
