Blood Soaked Vine
Evening starts to take in the day Pelicans start to settle aboard Going scattered along the blues Eagles widen wings till home Reaching down to new mistakes Strangling wings in own disgrace Tearful blood do they bleed Wounds invisible that don't exist Seeing peace in far distance Holding back to what remains Grown on wall is blood soaked vine Scratched up by the ravaged nails © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015
