Where eyes hear the unseen voices
As the sun kept burning high atop There stood no cloud, no star in sky Here Gray winged pigeons kept shedding water Under waterfall above the concrete ground Here laid an ocean for them to swim Under blistering heat of aftershot gun Which burned the feathers up to the bones Which made nights feared of entering sun Bathing and dancing until the time Embracing freedom from thoughts of encounters Absorbing the belief that time does comes When a moment purifies the stains of a life Here's a realm amidst silent contemplation Where neither thoughts nor senses bother Where flight is set to the unknown destination Where eyes hear the unseen voices. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015
