Rays coming from beneath A dense cloud spread around corners Brings to thought what it seems Peeking out of a bunch through sharp aperture Being a thread of life's wheel Spinning high slept and awake Rubbed over the gravel scratched Bent and straightened time to time With a stare at alluring horizon Feet deep in morass of past Washed in mistakes from tip to toe Seeking light in dark edge of ignorance Rugged in thoughts and look at surface Stumbling over uncertain conclusions Riding along wind to the end Scattered-content turn by turn. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

It's a need to believe It's a need to widen eyes The sun will come up It's a need to open windows Rays are there at the groundsill Waiting for an open heart One who seeks arriving blue Over Dark Blue Star Sheet Sprayed of white cloud ribbon Brightening canvas from shore till horizon Lightning Soul and veins, Eyes Of the sleepless wanderer One Who awaits the breeze Seeking skies from night till dawn To the day that'll shine over again To the moment when soul rids pain To realize the presence of light To convey the urge of lost hope Seeking wide eyed 'The Hope' Gazing eye to eye the morning star.... © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015

Mermaids, centaurs and unicorns Far away from this world I want to see them in real Once before i awake So i can see what it feels like To be in a dream Instead of the reality That's a nightmare I am tired of smelling blood When i go out seeking flowers I am tedious of insomniac nights When i don't see dreams at all I am tired of awaiting answers When the questions remain unheard I am tired of being cautious When i want to be just real I've chosen the path of patience God, help me before i break Mermaids, centaurs and unicorns I want to see before i awake. © Mohammad Shahnawaz 2015
